Review 1 of 4

Price Paid:  $300.00 from Friend (used)

Year / Model Reviewed:
2003 Focal Eutopia 165w

Summary:
These are simply some of the best sounding speakers money can buy. I was lucky enough to pick some up that were barely used for the above price, and gosh I thank God for that blessing. The tweeters are so badass they ca't be described. Jazz, Bluegrass lovers this is your compnent set. Make sure your rear fill in the car is substantial though. Don't get chincy with the rear fill of the car just because you bought the diesel sh$t for the fronts. I have Dolby 5.1 DVD-Audio capabilities with the new Pioneer AVH-P7500 deck and let me tell you its the way music was meant to be heard. So get a checklist out and make sure Focal Eutopia's are on it. You won't be dissapointed.

Strengths:
Tweeters are the like the saying on the back of the Maine state license plate. "The Way Life Should be!"

Weaknesses:
Save your pennies! Make sure you use comparable speakers for rear fill.

Review 2 of 4

Price Paid:  $139.00 from onlinecarstereo.com

Year / Model Reviewed:
 690 ca

Summary:
i actually have the ca version and not the hv, only slightly less power handling and the tweeter is a little different.

Strengths:
you can rotate the direction of the tweeter! although i am at this time running them off my HU power i can tell that they have a nice warm and rich sound. the highs sound very nice and not harsh and the lows extend down pretty good! i cant wait to get an amp on these, they should compliment my 165a components in the doors quite well.

Weaknesses:
none that i can tell

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $319.00

Summary:
The Focal 690HC 6x9 offers clear highs and highs. It accomplishes all of this while not distorting as a normal 6x9 would. The 690HC is a great option for the anyone's car instead of the alternative of building a custom plate to install components. This products qualities are maximized by powering them with a SQ amp

None

Weaknesses:
None
