Price Paid:  $0.00

Year / Model Reviewed:
 KA2200

Summary:
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!My son has just purchased a second hand car with a JENSEN AMPLIFYER Model- KA2200. The Main woofers in his car are faulty, so i am going to replace them with new ones. I need to know the technical specifications of this great amp so i can select the correct wattage and impaedence of the speakers to install. Please can someone email me the specifications or give me the correct web site to visit so i can look them up myself. Have tryed many sites but with dial up net, taking to long to get info. The amplifyer works ok from a technician who has tested it. Please can someone help, would be greatly appreiciated as my son wants to listen to his music in his first car. For watts per channell could they be specified in RMS, not peak or music power. Reguards, Chris.23-08-07

this amp drives a single sub really well, at least 10in jbl in my case, the amp doesnt run hot, and it has gain/bass controls.
if you have a simple system, this amp is good for you

Strengths:
simple and durable

Weaknesses:
not a ton of power for complex systems

Review 4 of 4

Price Paid:  $50.00

Summary:
I purchased 2 amps. at 50 bucks a piece, they were well worth the money. I'm currently using the amps on 2 12's (alpine type R) Absolutely no problems yet. You can't bridge multiple speakers off 1 amp (ohm load drops to low) but for running 1 amp per speaker, these work great.
For someone who doesn't have subs, these amps are perfect for door speakers. These amps also work great with 6*9's. However, don't pay more than 75 dollars for this amp.

Strengths:
Never overheats.
can't fry the amp
gain and bass boost control

Weaknesses:
crossovers are not very good.
can't push 2 subs off 1 amp.

Similar Products Used:
Good bang for the buck. If you're thinking about mutliple sub's though, don't buy these.
