Summary:
I work as a professional hi-fi consultant in a hi-fi store and this is the current hi-fi fave around the £200-£250 price. Its got the groove edges around the woofer surround- GROOVY!!!! But seriously, that does make quite a difference to the sound. Its the only hifi system in this price bracket that does serious bass. I don't mean just loud bass- it does that OK, but serious bass- good, deep bass. pukka bass that would probably outdo most pukka hifi seperate speakers- Wharfedale diamonds etc. Treble and mid are up to scratch as well. Finally, its got remote, double auto-reverse tape and full RDS stereo!
Now, come and buy one.
Its that good. THe next step up would be another Sony- the Rxd9, but thats another story...

Strengths:
Everythin'!

Weaknesses:
nowt. I think.
