Summary:
This new dual dvd/vhs hifi $249 player recorder is an excellent value for QVC/Best Buy consumers. This all in one unit has fair/good dvd playback & good VHS playback.. the biggest issue still not solved here is the dvd copy capability,it will only copy "non copy protected dvds" which except for the initial dvds from years back & some adult titles is..Nill. Go video(samsung) had no qualms with Macrovision encoded vhs-vhs copying but doesn't tread in DVD waters..? Player has RF out which most others don't include. Overall a good value & must have for people w/o th need for true home theater strenghts.
