Review 1 of 3 Summary: When I first started upgrading headphones that came with my personal electronics, this was the first model I came across. Since then, I have gone to bigger and better cans. Weak bass and muddy highs. Koss (Porta Pro) has overboosted bass and even muddier highs. This set is for butt-wipes who don’t know anything about quality audio. [It’s discontinued and no longer available~~for Sony’s small, lightweight open-aire headphones, there is a very gigantic gap~~big enough to drive a fleet of big freight trucks through~~between the MDR-301LP ($20 MSRP) and the MDR-605LP ($70).] I’ll have to give this model a very mediocre rating. Strengths: Light weight, single-sided cord Weaknesses: Weak bass, uneven treble, loose fit Similar Products Used: Tons
