Summary:
I Have owned my Beogram for about two and a half years and i of course bought it used. IT works perfectly and has a very quiet mechanism. The sound is very smooth i bought a marantz cd-67se to see if i would stray from vinly but the ole Beogram kept me coming back for more. I also own a Beogram RX which sounds almost identical but the rx doesnt have a stop button it will return after the album is over but i prefer the stop button. Also the 2404 has a pitch control that is easily adjusted while the RX requires a screw driver. As for sonic accuracy the only thing that these turntables lack is the output tends to be a little bit lower than other turntable (i use a MMC 4 cartridge by the way) but the sub chassis and the noisless belt drive and the 3 point suspension and the cosmetics more than make up for it. If you can find one buy one they sound much better than most turntables i have heard costing up to about $500.
