from Found in Attic Summary: To start things off... WOW... My grandma was having a garage sale, and asked me to remove some items from her attic for her. It was at this time I came to find a mint condition Sansui G7500 and two Kenwood KL-777S 's with 18" drivers that were my fathers and he somehow came to forget about. Took them home, hooked it all up, and started drooling. As long as this receiver holds up I will never have any reason to purchase anything different. It has power I haven't seen matched by anything else on the market today short of spending thousands of dollars. The first time I cranked the puppy up I blew the circuit breaker for my basement it drew so much power off my electrical system at my house. I actually went as far as putting in a new breaker specifically for the receiver, and the lights still dim. This sucker ROCKS! Been sitting in the attic since the early 80's, and doesn't have a single thing wrong with it. I *to date* have yet to turn it all the way up to 100, it's a scary scary unit. 75-80 will make your ears ring for the next 2 days. I don't even know what it puts out as far as wattage, all I know is it's absolutly NUTS, and anyone who comes acrossed any G series reciever of this era needs to pick one up... you will not be dissapointed. Strengths: DC powered amp, EXTREME power, plenty of inputs, plenty of audio adjustments for fine tuning, reliable, and LOUD AS $% Weaknesses: Other than it's weight *I'd have to say atleast 50 lbs* I have nothing to complain about, and how often do you have to move your receiver anyway.... TWO THUMBS UP Similar Products Used: Nothing Compares
