Price Paid:  $1700.00 from Upscale Audio

Summary:
The reason I bought this amp was to pair it with my Avante Garde Duos, which were previously powered by a push/pull EL34 amp. When I bought the amp it had Valve Art 300B tubes (stock). I wasn't impressed with the sound, tubby bass, no extension in the highs, but good midrange. I replaced the 300Bs with JJ (Tesla) and the preamp tubes with JAN Phillips. Completely different sound, tight bass, exceptional midrange, better highs. Great with voices and guitar. Rock music is very dynamic up to crazy levels (the tube amp is only powering the midrange and treble horns. Build quality is good, no problems with bias adjustments, very happy with the amp. I'm not going back to solid state or push pull tubes again.

Strengths:
With JJ 300B tubes, great sound.

Weaknesses:
Could have a little more extended highs.

Jolida EL34 Push pull tube amp.
