Summary:
I have bought a month ago a couple of Galactron MK 2021 (final ampli) and pre MK 2016. The final stadium is the same of the integrated 2060, but the preamplifier is really better and astonishing for detail and clearness. The connection between the two is by XLR connector cables, completely balanced. The pre has also a balanced input for cd that have the XLR output, and two pre outputs with a 6 dB/oct crossover filters switchable inside that allow you to bi-amplify your speakers. No phono input, and rca under volume control ouptputs for the headphones. I had to build a new rack that allowed me to set these two very tall pieces of art in my listening room, but after a very long period of 24 hours non stop pink noise swap of a week, I started listening to some music. The feeling was immediately very good, even if I must admit I am not the kind of guy that must be happy of his choice at all and anyway: this couple sounds really great. Every little sound of the scene is always listenable and understandable at every SPL. The definition of the scene is not so wide as some other amplifiers let you think it is, but the real soundstage is really real, tall and belivable. The bass definition is terrible, and you can feel the vibe and the chord as the skin of the percussions. High frequencies are very clear and dynamic but never too harsh. When you listen to some cd that you thought you knew by these Galactrons, you discover a new dimension of humours, atmosphere and little sounds that you were loosing before, and you start loving even some too bedly recorded cd that you never succeeded to listen to. But don't think it covers with fog the wrong things in the record, but its natural sound and sweet control lets you enjoy the only thing that really counts: THE MUSIC. Absolutely recommendable.

Strengths:
Clearness, planty of detail, bass definition end extention.

Weaknesses:
It is very tall and not easy to fit

Summary:
Galactron is Italian manufacturer, that makes solid state amplifiers. They say that their goal is to make solid state amplifier with the sound as close to tube amplifiers as it can be.MK 2120 is an integrated amplifier with 60 wpc. It's the strongest integrated amplifier from their product range.
I have tested a lot of amplifiers lately, but most of them had problems with my Magneplanar SMGa speakers. MK 2120 is the first amplifier that was totaly in control in any situation. Even the most demanding parts of music were clean and stereo imaging was perfect.
This amplifier, in my opinion, is one of the best in this price range (1200$).
