I have been using this product for the past three days so I wanted to give my initial impressions. So far I am very impressed with the performance of this unit. It has added a greater sense of background quiet and has opened up the soundstage - both laterally and in depth. I have experimented with the various Multiwave settings and have settled on Multiwave2. This seems to give the best overall presentation.
My Equipment: McIntosh MC402 amplifier, McIntosh C2200 Preamp; McIntosh MCD205 CD player, Marantz DV9500 CD/DVD/DVD-A/SACD player, Musical Fidelity A.324 DAC, Music Hall MMF7 turntable, Musical Fidelity X-10V3, XPSU, X-CanV3 Strengths:
Significantly lowers the noise floor, allowing instruments to seemingly come out of a jet black background while also giving voices and instruments their own seperate spaces. Weaknesses:
